TOTD: Firestorm (Original Mix) - Far Too Loud

Far Too Loud released a hella tight electro house track in an EP called Firestorm.  The EP has 3 awesome electro, dirty sounding tracks.  All by Far Too Loud on Funkatech Records.  You can pick up this trio on Beatport for 7.47.

TOTD: Rock the House (Original Mix) - Afrojack

I really wish I could give this track more credit than it is given.  Many people sometimes ask me this: "What's the true difference between Electro House and Progressive House."  I tend to categorize it at the type of sound.

This is generally the idea of Progressive House: Blessed - Tom Hangs.
This is Electro House in essence: Ready for the Stomping - Far Too Loud.

This is a great floor filler for you DJs.  Just toss this sucker in and BAM!

TOTD: Unprepared (Marcel Woods Remix) - Marco V

The track of the day today is Unprepared which is a boss progressive house track.  This track features a musical word known as counterpoint.  Counterpoint is two melodies at once.  This track features one melody (The vocals) then the synth.  Then soon after that, both at the same time.  It just makes you want to get crazy down on the floor

Youtube for the ones who get crazy on the floor!

This track mixes well as it has a good rhythmical intro and outro.

Enjoy!
